Research on Technology of 7075 Aluminum Alloy Processed by Variable Polarity TIG Additive Manufacturing Utilizing Nanoparticle-Reinforced Welding Wire with TiB2

TIG arc additive manufacturing experiments were performed utilizing TiB2 nanoparticle-reinforced toward to 7075 aluminum alloy welding wire, and the microstructure mechanical properties corresponding different locations of plate investigated. At top location deposited layer, was characterized by fine dendrite induced solidification, equiaxed grain predominant at middle location. The size bottom obviously larger compared locations, secondary-phase particles homogeneously distributed boundary or inner grains. layer most excellent tensile micro-hardness decreased with detected area varying from combination fracture elongation maximum strength on determined be 361.8 MPa respect respectively, which higher samples processed general process (279.4 ± 5.3) MPa, indicating nano-sized possessed certain enhancing effects investigated alloy.
